A WORKERS BILL OF RIGHTS 1) Double the minimum wage! Full medical and pension benefits for all who work! Everyone who wants to work should have the right to a job! 2) Defend unions! Defend picket lines! Picket lines mean DON’T CROSS! Defend the picket lines against scabs and other scum by any means necessary! 3) Bring all American troops home at once! No more money for the war budget – not one dime! Spend the money in the war budget on social programs instead to improve the lives of Americans! No more wars! No more invasions! Put the American President on trial as a war criminal! Treat veterans with respect! For fair treatment, full compensation and benefits, and quality medical care for all veterans injured in America’s wars! For the unity of rank-and-file soldiers and workers against the war-mongering politicians, generals, and war-profiteers. 4) For an immediate halt to all evictions and foreclosures! The Democrats escalated the war in Vietnam, and dropped the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Democrats are attacking our democratic rights just like the Republicans! The Democrats in Congress voted for the Patriot Act. The Democrats attack unions – just like the Republicans. The Democrats are not the friends of black people! The Democrats opposed the Emancipation Proclamation, the Democrats supported the Counterpro program in the 1960s that murdered black activists, and in 1985 Wilson Goode (a black Democratic mayor) murdered a dozen black activists and their children in cold blood! 18) Build a third party – a workers party – a party that will fight for all workers whether they are white or black, male or female, gay or straight, native-born or immigrant. 19) Freedom of speech for all! No to censorship – whether it’s by politicians, the police apparatus, religious extremists, conservatives, or P.C. feminists/liberals! 20) Strike down the Patriot Act! Full democratic rights for all! 21) Support the struggle of workers! For the unity of artists, writers, and students with the struggles of the working class! For the unity of white and black workers, male and female workers, gay and straight workers, native-born and immigrant workers – all workers must unite and fight together for better wages, better medical and pension benefits, and a better tomorrow!

Question: What do you think of the Patriot act?
Answer: Our civil liberties are also under attack from the Patriot Act! Both the Democrats and Republicans support the Patriot Act, they support the war on drugs, both parties support the rich, and both parties voted for these wars! It's time to kick the politicians of both political parties out of office! These politicians both Democrat and Republican all need to get a job! Let the politicians, CEOs, and billionaires who are ruining our country pick up garbage off the ground for food stamps!
Q. You must be kidding! How are you going to do all that? Even if hell froze over and you were elected and you tried to do all that you'd be assassinated, don't you think?
A. In the extremely unlikely event that I win the election for President I will immediately resign.
Q. Immediately resign? You would immediately resign if you won? Well then why bother running for President in the first place?
A. Because I want to use the election as a platform to talk about the evils of capitalism. I want to use the election as a platform to talk about how the Democrats are just as rotten as the Republicans.
Q. You keep saying that. That the Democrats are just as rotten as the Republicans. In fact, I've heard you say that choosing between the Democrats and the Republicans is like choosing between AIDS and cancer. Why would you say that?
A. Under George Bush we had two wars at the same time, the Patriot Act, the war on drugs, the militarization of the border with Mexico, and bailouts for the big corporations. Under Barack Obama we have the exact same thing, except now we're in three wars at the same time. Barack Obama has used the Patriot Act to attack peace organizations! Barack Obama has sent even more troops to the Mexican border than Bush! Deportations of immigrants has increased under Barack Obama! Military spending is up under Barack Obama! And the first thing that Barack Obama did when he got in office was bailout the big corporations!
Q. But wasn't bailing out the big corporations necessary to save the economy from getting even worse?
A. If you accept capitalism then you accept big bailouts for corporations. If you don't accept capitalism then you're like why not nationalize the big corporations under workers control? What do we need the CEOs for? The only thing they're good for is ruining the economy with their excessive greed! Let's throw the CEOs on the street! The workers create the wealth, so let the workers rule! Let's get rid of capitalism and let's have socialism!
Q. Let's face it Wolf Larsen, you're nobody! Virtually all these other politicians running for President have held political office before. You on the other hand, have been what? A longshoreman? A crew member on commercial fishing boats? An office worker? Oh, and let's not forget bag boy at a supermarket and busboy in a restaurant. I fail to see how those jobs make you qualified to be President of the United States of America.
A. As I pointed out if I am elected President than I will immediately resign. I'm using the election as a platform to point out how the capitalist system is oppressing the workers and the poor. Since I've worked in all kinds of jobs I feel I'm very qualified to talk about how capitalism oppresses workers. And remember, the work I did in Alaska was seasonal. I worked 100 hour weeks in Alaska twice a year, so I had plenty of vacation time where I traveled around the world on the cheap and saw firsthand the evils of capitalism, particularly in third world capitalist countries where things are even worse! Capitalism sucks pure and simple!
Q. That's the other thing Wolf Larsen, it seems like you're using the election more like a platform to sell your book Capitalism Sucks.
A. Well sir, capitalism does suck, and that's what I talk about in my book Capitalism Sucks and my blog http://CapitalismSucks.Blog.com and on my YouTube & twitter channels SucksCapitalism. And I'm running for President as a write-in candidate of the Capitalism Sucks Party.

What is the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans? There is no difference! Both the Democrats and the Republicans bring us endless war! The Democrats and the Republicans bailout the big corporations while the American people suffer from a wave of foreclosures from sea to shining sea! The Democrats and the Republicans both support the Patriot Act, which is an attack on our civil liberties! Both the Democrats and the Republicans support the so-called war on drugs, which is also an attack on our civil liberties! Two million Americans currently sleep behind prison bars every night – mostly because of drugs! Why should somebody go to jail because of drugs?! |
The nation I grew up in was a relatively prosperous one, albeit with many problems. But as the years have gone by so many factories have closed – we are literally losing our industrial base! The infrastructure throughout the nation has continued to deteriorate as seen in New Orleans. The rich have gotten richer while everyone else has gotten poorer. Unions are being smashed. Many good paying blue-collar and white-collar jobs have been eliminated, and it seems like more are being eliminated every day. Are we all doomed to slave away for minimum wage?! And the tax burden has increasingly fallen upon the working people.
According to Yahoo News most of the rich people in our nation do not pay income taxes, and many large corporations in America do not pay taxes either. This is an outrage! It's like the ruling class in our nation think they're 19th century French royalty or something! They eat caviar and drink champagne while the American people suffer from unemployment, foreclosures, and stingy wages!
It's time for the billionaires, CEO executives, and the politicians of both parties to get a job! Let them all pick garbage off the ground for food stamps!
It's time to put America back to work! Everyone should have the right to a job! It's time for working Americans to make decent wages! We need a massive unionization effort to unionize every major employer from coast-to-coast!
It's time for working-class America to unite together! Whether we are white or black, Christian or Jewish, male or female, nativeborn or immigrant, gay or straight – we all have the same struggle! We are all the same class! We are the working-class! We built this country! We make this country run – we built the highways, we built the airplanes, we drive the trains and buses, we work in the factories, we work in the offices, we make the economy happen! The wealth of this nation rightfully belongs to the workers – not to the parasitic ruling class!
United together the working-class can be a tremendous force fighting for good-paying jobs for all, free quality child care for all, free quality health care for all, free quality higher education for all, and no more wars! Instead of going for endless war our taxes must be used to benefit the workers! All workers must be united! An injury to one worker is an injury to all workers! White workers must fight for black equality! Men workers must fight for women's equality! Straight workers must fight for gay equality! Nativeborn workers must fight for the rights of immigrants! Christian workers must defend Arabic and Jewish workers from discrimination! We are all workers, we must all be united, we must all fight together! Remember, an injury to one worker is an injury to all workers!
We must also fight for the rights of our veterans! Honor the veterans, not the wars! Many injured veterans returning from the wars have injuries so severe they cannot work. But instead of instantly receiving the benefits they need many injured veterans often encounter endless bureaucratic obstacles from our government!
Soldiers! Are you sick of war?! Soldiers are being sent back to fight and die in countries halfway across the world over & over again! These wars have nothing to do with the defense of our nation! These wars are about dominating the world! If the rich people & the politicians want to dominate the world why don't they themselves go fight & die in these countries! Bring our troops home now! How many innocent civilians are dying in all these wars?! How many of our young people are returning home injured or in caskets from all these endless wars?! It seems that the only people that these wars benefit is the war-profiteers! Down with the war-profiteers! While some of our veterans are cast out into the street by our government the war-profiteers are raking in the dough!
And down with nationalism & patriotism! The politicians & the news media have used nationalism & patriotism to get us into all these bloody wars! We are workers – and we have more in common with the workers and the poor of the world than we do with the rich and powerful of our own nation! The enemy of the American worker is not in Iraq, Libya, Vietnam, or Afghanistan! The enemy of the American worker is Washington DC and Wall Street! When the rich and powerful of our nation are not making war abroad they are making war against the American working people! They are smashing our unions and throwing us out of our homes and paying us ever stingier wages while the cost of living goes up & up! While working-class Americans suffer corporate profits go up & up and the rich get richer & richer!
And that is why I am announcing my candidacy for President of the United States of America. I want to use this candidacy as a platform to denounce all the evils of capitalism! Capitalism brings endless war, poverty, unemployment, racial oppression, gender oppression, immigrant-bashing, homophobia, & union busting! Capitalism is an outdated economic model that is only beneficial to the privileged few. The time has come to throw capitalism in the garbage can!
Who am I? I am NOT a Democratic or Republican politician – and for that very reason I have more in common with the American people than those lying politicians of the Democratic and Republican parties! I worked as a longshoreman for 10 years, and I worked for nearly 2 years as a seasonal crewman on commercial fishing boats in Alaska. I've also worked in offices, restaurants, and supermarkets. Since my work in Alaska was seasonal I used the offseasons to travel around the world to over 50 countries. Both on the job and in my travels abroad I have seen the evils of capitalism!
In the extremely unlikely event that I am elected President of the United States of America I will immediately resign. The problem with capitalism cannot be solved by electing different politicians. The problems caused by the capitalist system can only be solved by replacing capitalism with socialism through a workers revolution. I am using the election as a platform to denounce capitalism and the politicians of both the Democratic and Republican parties. The politicians of both political parties are nothing but a bunch of whores who do the bidding of the rich! Capitol Hill is the biggest house of prostitution in the entire country!
And unlike the hypocritical politicians of the Democratic and Republican parties I do not claim to be Mother Teresa. I am a sinner. I tell you honestly that I am such a sinner that if there were a hell I would certainly go there! But if there is a hell no doubt there'll be plenty of politicians of both political parties down there to keep me company!
I have no intentions of becoming President – ever! (One day when there is socialism the President will certainly be someone far more intelligent and capable than I am.)
I am running a protest campaign against the Republicans and the Democrats. I ask for your vote in my write-in candidacy so that together we can protest the wars, the unemployment, the attacks on civil liberties, the union-busting, police brutality, sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, immigrant-bashing, and homophobia that all run amok under capitalism. Vote for Wolf Larsen as a write-in candidate for President as an act of protest against the the Democratic and Republican parties. Vote for Wolf Larsen for President as an act of protest against the capitalist system and its endless wars, unemployment, gender oppression, racial oppression, union-busting, foreclosures, etc.
The only way to end capitalism is to throw it in the garbage can and replace it with socialism. The first step towards this goal is to build a workers party. The Capitalism Sucks Party is much more modest than a workers party. The Capitalism Sucks Party is more like the little mouse that roared. In announcing my candidacy I am merely making my own modest effort to open people's eyes to the evils of capitalism, and to help them understand that the Democrats are just as rotten as the Republicans.
